Action required: Athlete distribution of sponsorship brochures

At the All Parents meeting, each family had the opportunity to take sponsorship brochures to distribute to local businesses in our community. The goal is to help secure support for the upcoming 2026 Plymouth Wildcats Football season.

We are asking each athlete to personally deliver their brochures to local businesses. After handing out each brochure, they must log the details of the visit using the link that has been sent via email and posted to the Band app.

Before visiting any businesses, please have your athlete the Visited Business List form to ensure the business hasn’t already been visited by another player. The form been sent via email and posted to the Band app.

We encourage all athletes to begin outreach as soon as possible, as businesses must finalize their sponsorship commitments by August 14.

Instructions:

  • Athletes should fill out the form every time they drop off a brochure.
  • They will need to provide their name, the business name, contact person (if available), and date of visit.
  • We ask all athletes to represent the Plymouth Wildcats with professionalism and pride.
  • Any sponsorship fees that your family generates will be applied to your athlete(s) participation fees.

Future opportunities to obtain additional brochure printouts:

Thank you for encouraging your athlete to take part in this important outreach. Their effort helps build relationships in the community and directly supports our program.

We need volunteers!

Our parent volunteers make our program successful!  All families are required to volunteer for a minimum of 3 volunteer slots on the SignUpGenius that will come out in July.  All volunteer spots need to be signed up for by August 4th.  Players will not receive their equipment the week of equipment handout, if their family has not committed to their 3 volunteer slots.

Volunteer requirements can also be met by serving in one of these roles: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V3cqMPXXlbjPe0gdoDXbn3JMNQK1-yOPeDSlVDZV7AQ/edit?usp=sharing

Grub Crawl

We are currently planning our first ever Plymouth Football Grub Crawl! The event will take place on August 22, 2026 from 12:00pm-4:00pm.

We plan on this being a big fundraiser for our football team. For that to happen, we need some help from all of you! Please consider these things…

  1. Donate a gift card to a restaurant. We are going to build a restaurant gift card tree that will be the grand prize of the event.
  2. Donate a basket for the basket raffle.
  3. Talk to your son about volunteering to help with the event. We will need players at each stop to make this a success!
  4. Join us and bring friends and family!

We will start the afternoon at the Post, where we have reserved the back patio for our group. This will be our “home base,” where we will have all the baskets and goodie bags. There will be appetizers and drink specials as well. This is where we will end the night with pizza and breadsticks too.

There will be 2-3 more stops on the crawl…stay tuned for this information!

At each stop, players will give all participants a card. By the end of the night, everyone will have a hand of poker, and the best hand wins the restaurant gift card tree.

The early bird cost will be $40 per person. This will increase to $50 later in the summer. All participants will receive the appetizer and drink specials, a goody bag filled with Plymouth swag, 5 basket raffle tickets, and pizza and breadsticks at the end of the event.

Keep an eye out for more information about this event. We can’t wait for this fun afternoon with our Wildcat families!
